Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Arcana Insight (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app.

1. Interpretations Stay on Your Device

Your questions, selected cards and interpretations are processed entirely on your device. They are never sent to any interpretation or AI service.

2. Data We Store

If you choose to save a reading, it is stored as a file on your device (the cards, your optional question and the date). When you sign in with Google and grant Drive access, saved readings are also backed up to a private app-data folder in your own Google Drive, visible only to this app — we operate no server and cannot read it. Theme preferences are stored locally on the device.

3. Authentication

Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication with your Google account, from which we receive your basic profile (name, e-mail). Guest mode creates no account and sends nothing.

4. Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers according to Google’s privacy policy. We request non-personalized ads where required.

5. Deletion

You can delete saved readings at any time from the “My Readings” screen; this also removes their Google Drive backup. To remove your account entirely, use Settings › Account › Remove Google account: it erases every reading this app has stored in your Google Drive, withdraws the app’s access to your Google account, and deletes the account record held through Firebase Authentication. Readings saved on the device are kept so you can carry on without an account, and uninstalling the app removes those too. 6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we inadvertently processed data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
